For drivers committed to advancing their skills and stepping into the world of wheel-to-wheel racing, the PCRA 2-Day Advanced Road Racing SCCA Drivers School is the ideal next step. This intensive program is built to provide future racers with the knowledge, seat time, and official credentials necessary to launch their racing careers. Over two action-packed days, participants will engage in detailed classroom instruction paired with extensive track sessions, including advanced technique development, real race scenarios, race craft training, best practices for race weekends, and multiple full-speed mock races. Graduates of the course earn their SCCA Novice Permit, which includes credit for one official SCCA race event.
With the Novice Permit in hand, drivers can compete in regional SCCA-sanctioned races. After completing just two more races beyond the school, participants qualify to apply for their SCCA National Full Competition License—a significant credential that unlocks entry to higher-level and nationally recognized racing events.
Every PCRA class maintains a strict 3:1 student-to-instructor ratio, guaranteeing individualized coaching, direct feedback, and maximum time behind the wheel—the track itself becomes the classroom.
